UK referee Victor Loughlin should be banned from the sport of boxing for life! Josh Taylor is a cheat! In a fair fight with a honest official Taylor would of been disqualified -- not advancing into the second round of the WBSS. Ivan Baranchyk needs to request a Vegas official just to make sure that some UK ref and Josh Taylor do not rob him of the IBF jr. welterweight title!

The stoppage was bull****, however Taylor had won every round by a landslide, and Martin was like a rabbit in the headlights, so to call Taylor a cheat is absolute bull****.

Disqualification is a bit far, it didn't look intentional at all it was just the way Martin moved. But you're right the ref didn't handle it properly, he should've given Martin time to recover and not ruled it a KD. Whether he was out of his depth or not.

Agree it wasn't intentional and more Martin leaning to his left. But it appears Martin deliberately went down rather than because of the punch. He was up quickly and didn't look hurt.

Golovkin would be a much much better fighter if he had someone like Papachenko in his corner instead of Abel. Abel just told him to let his hands go, wtf for kinda advice is that ? And to Golovkin he only said 'go knock him out'

Crap fights...why didn't they just save the money from fatherweigh and other ****tie divisions and just pay the cash to get light heavyweight tournament

Because the WBSS ain't where the money is at if your already a full fledged champ. As good as it would be for fans at 147 or 175, it wouldn't be enough build up for some of the fights. I agree that I don't wanna watch 118lbers that much either. Don't blame the WBSS, blame cats like Adonis Stevenson and Mauricio Sulaiman.
