New York - For decades, when many fans would discuss the individual they considered to be the 'voice of boxing,' HBO's Jim Lampley would quickly come to mind. However, after December 8th the network will end its long run within the sport after 45 years.

The winner of the 3 is bound to be the next superstar if it happens.

This is getting old where the top five boxers of each division opting out to fight each other. Legends are born when the top tier fight each other.

Shut up lampley. Crawford just became a weltweight and Thurman has been injured.

Since 2016 we've gotten Thurman vs Porter, Thurman vs Garcia, Spence vs Brook, Garcia vs Porter.

And because of that HBO died and Showtime took over. Now we don't have to hear you fawn over the lit gee's jab numbers and claim he's #1 P4P by beating welterweights and dominating a weak division.

Leave Thurman out of it, he's retired.

          Thurman is not injured.

He just doesn’t wanna fight Spence.

This is so tiring. Im so tired of hearing about the "network issues" "promoter differences" "wrong side of the street" "fight needs to build" "has to be ppv" Can we just get the damn fights we wanna see. Why cant boxing be regulated liek the NBA or the NFL where theres not choices on who you face and there is no network disputes or none of that crap. Oh. i forgot that would only make the sport better and it makes too much sense.

Please for the love of God. Stop mentioning Keith Thurman.
They need to take his damn title.

Whether he's injured or not is irrelevant. Thurman doesn't have to face Spence. He'd be ducking in all of our eyes if he chose not to but as it stands now he's technically not mandated to fight Spence if he does return. At least not at the moment.

Everybody fought everybody back in the day, because there was no HBO! Then HBO came onboard, and everybody fought on HBO, because there was no Showtime! There were also fewer promoters, and fighters got robbed on the regular! Lampley is mad because he talked all that "PBC is dead" bulls**t, and now he's the one pushing up daisies!
