1. Canelo is ducking any legit contender besides GGG.
2. Jacobs says he wants Charlo now.
3. Charlo should fight BJS or some other fully legit contender first. Centeno and Heiland were not legit contenders.

dazn aint cutting it. They can do what Showtime & hbo did when they showed us Tyson/Lewis & T.B.E./pacquiao. Plus the fighters aren't tied down to the networks, its the promoters. Nelo is tied down with his deal though.

Canelo is tied to DAZN for the next 11 fights and will get a minimum of $365 million for his troubles. He is free to fight fighters promoted or advised by anyone, including Charlo, provided that the fight is exclusively on DAZN. Having an APP as the major player now changes the whole boxing landscape. Boxing is a niche sport at best here in the U.S., but it is huge in Latin American Countries, Great Britain, the old Soviet Union countries and catching fire in Asia, as well as Africa. At 10 bucks per month, DAZN will make these fights affordable to hundreds of millions of folks around the world. Unless I miss my guess, the number of people watching some of these fights will far exceed the PPV fights and TV fights of everyone in the past. The boxers who have an international appeal will be the big stars in the future. That might be why Canelo is having his first DAZN fight with a Brit -- to give him more European exposure. Everything will be in flux for a while.

The fight with Fielding is a "stay busy" fight for Canelo, no one pretends otherwise. The cut Canelo received in the Golovkin fight isn't even properly healed yet. I think it has more to do with kicking off the big push by DAZN to generate subscribers than with anything else. But it offers some practical advantages for Canelo. Fielding is 6'1" or 6'2" and Canelo is shorter than Mayweather -- 5'8" on his best day. fielding will be much heavier than Canelo on fight night. This might be preparation for Canelo to fight either Zurdo or Benavides in Mexico City -- who knows. For sure it will help him fight the much taller middleweights like Charlo, Jacobs and Andrade.

2nd why would Charlo have to sign with DAZN?! Just make the fight and be done with it. Are you a DAZN employee or something? Do you have stock in the company?

If you claim Charlo hasn't proven himself in your eyes. Who would you like him to fight to prove him self worthy of your beloved Canelo?

Canelo went strait to the main guy, and fought the main man at 154, in Lara when the Charlos use the excuse of having the same trainer, when Lara clearly said he'll fight them in a heart beat, and the only thing he had to do is find a new trainer.
