It was Mayweather in April 2018 who said: "If I come out of retirement, it'll be for a UFC fight. It is possible I do come back, but if I do come back, it has to be in the Octagon," Mayweather said. "I spoke with my team. I spoke with [adviser] Al Haymon". "I would not box again". Arent you a little late for the Mayweather jizz slurping contest?

Dana White can stfu. If Floyd says its a boxing match thats what it is. boxing is where the money is. McGregor will never see a payday like he got vs Floyd in MMA. same for Khabib, he will make enough here to retire. Floyd is the gift that keeps on giving.

But Conor boxed and his MMA style of fighting is just boxing. He knocked out many fighters using the boxing style which is what made the fight intriguing. Also Conor was way bigger than Floyd and people wanted to see the match up. Khabib knocked down Conor a known boxer in the octagon and that way a matchup can be made. Floyd has never grappled or kicked anyone before so what use is there in him getting into the Octagon? No one just takes risks for the sake of taking risks unless they have missed their mental medication.

Floyd Mayweather says he's starting MMA training with UFC champ Tyron Woodley.

My sons have been practicing Shorin-Ryu (Okinawan style Karate-Jutsu) for almost 20y rs. They are both 2nd Degree Black Belts and it did not come over night. When they compete it's like they aren't really thinking. Everything is natural like the flow of water. The oldest likes the ground game. He started 3 years on the offensive line in H.S. If he gets you on the ground 9 times out 10 its over.

The younger one likes to fight on his feet and is kinda of a counter puncher. He throws strikes (punches) about 75% of the time. But be care he has a wicked spinning roundhouse kick.

Floyd is 41. If he devoted 100% of his time maybe he could become proficient in MMA in 3-4 years. But that leaves him around 45 years old.

Khabib is a ground and pounder and he will get Floyd on the ground!

But really what does this have to do with Boxing.

Then I guess Floyd missed his mental medication because he said he would only come back to fight in the Octagon.

WBC will make a tiger skin and platinum belt and call it their King of the Jungle title.
