It will be Whyte.
Whyte is the only one that they can get away with fighting (& get great sales) outside of Wilder / Fury, due to the rivalry and the hype that they've built Whyte in the UK. They've been setting this up for a long time.
Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with the credibility of the fighter. It has everything to do with what they can sell to the casuals and that's what I mean by 'appeasing the masses'. They have taken a lot of stick for not making the Wilder fight and Hearns been in full on damage limitation mode, sales would suffer greatly if it's not one of those 3.Last edited by lefthooklead; 11-02-2018, 06:45 PM.Comment

I can't see whyte helping sales. Hardly anyone wants to see that mismatch again. Her got pummeled last time, and will get pummeled easier this time. AJ has improved much more than whyte has. Whyte still the same sloppy limited fighter he was 2 years ago.It will be Whyte.

I have no idea why Hearn and AJ are trying to force wilder to sign before his showdown with fury. Anyone in their right mind knows that any fighter who holds a title , with a big fight looming will not sign a contract for another big fight . What if wilder loses ? I’m sure he I’ll want to exercise his rematch clause and if he wins he will be able to negotiate for more money . It goes like this , if Aj really wants Wilder like he wants us to all believe then wait 4 more weeks for the outcome of wilder vs fury then negotiate.Comment

You obviously have no idea about the UK market. Whyte has been built and marketed heavily in the UK. There's the strong rivalry between the pair, Whyte is popular amongst the fans, has improved a lot, does good numbers on interviews and recently had a PPV against Parker that did about 450k in the UK. If you don't think he generates more sales in comparison to anyone else (aside Fury / Wilder) then you really have no clue.Comment

He's not. He's just making noise as misdirection and to enable future excuses. "we needed it done by dec 1st" etc. He's putting in the groundwork early. It's Whyte for April, always has been. Whyte's already 4 points up on the scorecards against Chisora.I have no idea why Hearn and AJ are trying to force wilder to sign before his showdown with fury. Disagree, only the weakest fanboy will think this is a good matchup. Wait for ther public backlash when this awful fight is announced. It's coming...You obviously have no idea about the UK market.
