Belt isn't a factor in this situation because they are prize fighters and this fight is going to earn them more money than any title fight and it'll be pivotal to both their careers moving forward. Those factors are more important than some ABC sanctioning body who's belts switch hands more frequently than a hooker switches clients. So fighting at a fair weight is essential. Brook knows that so he's either trying to duck the fight or trying his hardest to get a weight advantage by avoiding the rehydration clause, it's plain to see at this point.

Khan is one of the biggest embarrassments to British boxing, right up there with Audley Harrison.Comment

Only a ****ing idiot would claim Brook doesn't want the fight Khan has been ducking for years, this is just another duck. Brook should sign the contract or we all know he's ducking the fight. He was fine doing a rehydration for Porter and Spence, now all of a sudden he turned diva and wants things all his own way? Lets make it a fair fight - that's the reason rehydration restrictions are implemented in various fights for years. Does Brook feel he can't beat Khan without a weight advantage or what?Comment

Aslong as he makes weight then it's fair. Khan asking for a rehydration clause shows his fear. This fight should have happened years ago but Khan has done everything to avoid it. So fighters "show their fear" whenever they put in weight-related clauses in contracts?
Mayweather had a catchweight for Canelo
Pacquiao had a catchweight for Cotto and De La Hoya
Canelo has a rehydration clause for Fielding
Broner had a catchweight for Porter
etc...
Now what about Brook showing his fear by trying to avoid the rehydration clause when he already did it against Spence and Porter... that says it all, he may well be trying his best to duck the fight at this point!Comment

Well known Brook has struggled to make 147 for years. Clear this is a duck move from Khan. He'd have had his rehydration clause no problem a couple of years ago, but we both know it isn't about that, all it's about is avoiding the fight. So fighters "show their fear" whenever they put in weight-related clauses in contracts?

Brook fought Spence just last year with exactly the same rehydration clause but now all of a sudden he's trying to duck the Khan fight by not accepting the exact same rehydration clause. I think it's a case closed on this one - Brook is clearly trying to duck out of the fight. We've seen him quit several times in the past during fights so it might just be that he's trying to quit this fight before it even begins?Comment

Why didn't Khan want it in the past? No it isn't the same, IBF rules are 10% of the division weight, which means 14.7 lbs not 10.Brook fought Spence just last year with exactly the same rehydration clause but now all of a sudden he's trying to duck the Khan fight by not accepting the exact same rehydration clause.
