Why dont boxers get traded?

    contracts are bought out. that's basically a trade.

    but usually a promotor doesn't want to relinquish the right to promote an asset he invested into,.

      How many PBC fighters would Al have to give away to acquire Crawford from Arum??

        That's exactly how I see it. Take someone like Zurdo Ramirez. Arum has no1 for him unless we see Zurdo vs Hart fight 3+ times. Ramirez to another promoter for 2 or 3 featherweights from GBP or PBC would likely play/pay out well for everyone.

            Maybe they should split the divisions among the networks to force guys to fight each other.

            DAZN-HWT, Cruiser, LHW
            PBC-SMW, MW, JMW, WW
            ESPN, JWW, LW,SFW, FW
