Someone should've called Top Rank about Bryant Jennings. That's the argument promoter Bob Arum has made to the WBA in relation to it considering sanctioning Jarrell Miller-Bogdan Dinu as a fight for its "world" heavyweight title. As of Wednesday afternoon, the WBA still hadn't ruled whether to strip that championship from Manuel Charr, who tested positive for two anabolic steroids last month.

So there's the Super champion, the regular world champion and the interim titlist. What a joke.
There is only one world to be the champion of! I can understand if the actual champion is Injured, then Maybe, maybe an interim title could be fought for with winner unifying with the full title holder.
No shade on the fighters for grabbing a title as it helps increase they're purses. But for the wba to have 3 belts per "champion" is sad. It devalues the title that Great fighters have held.

Arum has nothing to worry about. The WBA were legally obliged to give Oquendo a title shot, and it only took them four years to do it. Arum can simply sue the WBA and in 2022, Jennings can get a fight for a fake title. This title is similar to a title for being valedictorian at a school for the mentally handicapped.
