While people are talking about how much Tony's shape and whatnot are important... I think it's more important for Peter. He needs to come in in better shape than he has been for the most part so he can go the full 12 rounds against Tony and keep throwing punches. JT doesn't have to be in great shape to box for 12 rounds with his style.
It'll be an interesting match up I think.Last edited by Dirt E Gomez; 07-02-2006, 02:55 PM.Comment

i see either a peter TKO or a toney UD. if peter can throw the proper punches, he might do enough damage for the ref to stop it. if toney stays on the ropes and fights on the inside, he'll come away with a one-sided win.
i think toney by UD cuz peter is just too crude. he hits like a beast, but hitting hard means nothing if you cant deliver the punch properly.Comment

Toney thinks he will outbox the crude Nigerian ****er; but I predict he's going to the well once too often. Toney is far more skilled than Peter will ever be; but he's also shown he doesn't feel the need to come in in top form anymore. I pick the Hungry Young Man over the Old Fat Man in this one. Toney will be stopped....literally, probably from a body shot, or at least a combination that starts with a body shot. It's Lights Out for Toney this time.Comment

peter has gone from 243 against klitschko all the wat to 256.5 in his last fight. how many of you actually think hes gonna come in below 255 for this fight? he couldnt really handle the distance against klit when he was in much better shape, what makes you think he can go 12 good rounds with toney?Comment
