Guy ain't beating any of the top level guys. Every time DJ actually let his hands go he had the guy in trouble and got the best of him. He's a bulldog though and keeps coming forward, he is just not as good as the top guys.

Not enough power or athleticism to hang with the big dogs.

              Derev proved Jacobs isn't elite.

Canelo and Charlo are a step or two above everyone else at middleweight. Jacobs, Derev, g, and Andrade are all good fighters, but I wouldn't call any of them elite. Derev is very limited and he still gave Danny everything he could handle.

If it wasn't for the knockdown at the end of the first, it would have been a majority draw. For Jacobs against one of his sparring partners.

I'm gonna ignore the HBO connection, between Lou Dibella and Lederman's daughter, as having an effect on the scorecard...

Lol GGG just arguably and in most people eyes beat Canelo twice yet he's not elite and Canelo is? How's that logic work?

g just got beat up pretty bad by Canelo. Canelo beat g, and everyone except for g fanboys admit this. Did you even see g's face after the fight? Canelo literally rearranged g's face. That is why Canelo just signed a deal for a guaranteed $365 million. If most people thought g had beat him, then g would be the one getting a record breaking contract.

I understand you root for g and have a hard time accepting the fact that he just got pummeled and beat black and blue... but he did.

The second fight is actually kind of hard to watch. One can see g being inflicted with permanent brain damage. I like g, got nothing against the guy, but he is clearly a level below Canelo. As their fight a month and a half ago proved. They just fought, and then Canelo gets a record setting contract. And g was hoping to fight Murata. He was going to get paid in the form of free haircuts for a year. Arum was going to pay for a year of g's haircuts. And g was happy with that. While Canelo is getting $365 million.
