NEW YORK Even in defeat, Lou DiBella believes Sergiy Derevyanchenko won Saturday night. The Ukrainian middleweight contender suffered his first professional defeat, a split decision to Daniel Jacobs. The skillful, tough Derevyanchenko still demonstrated during that close loss what DiBella, manager Keith Connolly and trainers Gary Stark Sr. and Andre Rozier already knew.

He can be World Champion For sure, he missed having Andre Rozier in his Corner big time though, he didn't even fight the same like he does when Rozier is in his Corner. Usually he attacks the body more and switches angles. Roy Jones pointed it out, he was doing a great job changing Angles but did not throw punches when he did it like he usually does. But Credit to Jacobs, his size and especially his Power made Derevenyenchenko reluctant just like GGG was reluctant vs Jacobs at times making that one a close fight also

Another year down the line I'd like to see him in there against Munguia if/when he moves to 160. Good match up.

The guy has some skills, and comes to fight. But he is a bit slow... And doesn't seem to be able to adjust.

                    Re

Punch off the break, punch after the bell, low blows, forearms...as long as the refs keep missing that, hell do okay
