This is the opposite of a duck/cherry pick. This is closer to a career suicide by fighting someone like Spence two weight classes higher. I commend him for challenging Spence.

Loma and Mikey can fight soon after. Not like these guys are 37 years old.
It's a clear duck because when he loses he can make a legitimate excuse that he was too small. It's easy to make a high risk gamble like this because he always has a way out.

He gets blown out by lomachenko then what excuses does he have then? Loma is smaller than he is.

That is why it's a duck. He doesnt have the balls to hold himself accountable and is always looking for a way out.

There are no excuses for not fighting lomachenko when hes easily p4p 1 or 2 and it would be a 135 full unification clash. Hes bigger and according to all his fangirls stronger and more technically sound.

If they do fight after spence then he still has an excuse to make. Lomachneko drained him down from 147 blah blah blah or he would need lomachenko to come up to at least 140 and then say Lomachenko is ducking him when he doesn't.

People like Mikey and his fans always have excuses.

I will applaud to Mickey if he wins... I will applaud him even if he loses with split decision, let alone get a draw.

But if he loses big and then drops back to fight Loma I will have a grudge on him for failing to provide an Ultimate Undisputed Unified Champion title fight for 4 major belts + Ring belt too at 135 lbs.

I see the point you're trying to make, just think its a stretch.

Either way, this is an interesting fight.

He pretended to want Gamboa, ducked him, pretended he wanted Linares ducked him (and then Loma took the fight. There was an interview of Mikey being butthurt than Loma had the stones to do it saying "they can't do this"), cherry picked Lipinets AFTER turning down a one fight offer for Linares. That's an important fact you got wrong (on purpose no doubt). Mikey said he decided to "go in another direction".

Now he has two choices; duck Spence after all this talk or get his **** pushed in. I will enjoy either scenario but particularly enjoy him getting his face smashed in and quitting. He may retire afterwards. I hope he does because he's a waste of space.
I couldn't have said it better.

Isa Chaniev. Who in the f#ck is that? How are titles consistently finding random mfers like this to give vacant title shots or mandos to?!?!?! I would like to think I'm a harder hardcore fan then most, but I gotta google mfers like Isa all the time cuz I've legit never heard of this mfer. And apparently he's #11 on Boxrec, but I don't think I've ever noticed this guys name let alone known a f#cking thing about him.

Not really when you think about it. For Garcia's style, Loma is not a guy you look good against. At least Spence will be there to be hit.

Garcia likes to fight more stationary targets and in his mind, Spence is probably the more winnable fight.

More like it’s an easier fight to make.

Yeah, I agree for the styles parts, Spence is straight up and down next to Loma IMO, he's left handed, strong but somehow basic.

I would give Garcia a shot to outbox Spence if he had very good speed but he doesn't.

Spence is much longer and stronger than Loma and it does change everything.

Mike doesn't have the power to beat Spence, earn his respect.

If you can't stop Bunny Easter at 135, you ain't beating Spence in you're very next fight at 147.
It does tell that you will be pillow fisted at 147 wich is a bad look.

AT 140 he's 2 wins (0 kos), Spence is a stalker, you need to earn his respect.
