He does either way. Loma is in Mikey's weght class. Spence isn't. All Mikey has to do is fight Loma first, then he can easily move up and fight Spence at ANY point after that. For Mikey to go out of his way to avoid the guy in his weight class and go fight someone two weight classes up proves Mikey wants ZERO part of Loma, otherwise he would simply do the Loma fight early next year and THEN fight Spence which can be done at any time afterwards! Any time! But by going up to fight Spence first, it ruins the Loma fight completely because no one believes Mikey can make 135 healthy again after bulking up to 147.

I'd rather see him fight the other Garcia first.

he was chasing it for 2 years and they didnt want it, now he has his eyes on bigger plans. They barely even said they be willing to negotiate this fight last month lol and its still after pedraza, mikey is not waiting around for a maybe.

Mikey wanted to fight linares but GBP tried to get him on options with a 3 fight deal mikey said no, I want to fight him the 1 fight and thats that they declined so mikey went and made the deal with lipinets then after the deal was already finalized GBP said okay we do the deal with the 1 off fight its too late mikey moved on to another fight. But wouldnt matter anyways cause linares turned it down Himself, his own words.
