Lomachenko is THE BEST fight he could make and has a higher chance of winning.

But instead they're trying to change the reality, a duck, into a brave narrative.

Fighting out of your division would be brave IF there was no one left in your own division, but there is the #1 p4p waiting for you in a full 4 belt unification clash.

That's another thing. Mikey doesn't like boxing. He always says he gets bored from the training, because it's the same thing over and over again. That doesn't sound like a guy that wants to do this much longer.
He is about to be 31 years old. How much time will he continue boxing? You have to think it won't be much longer.
If the Spence fight gets made and Mikey ends up hurt I think he may just call it there.
Mikey should have made the Loma fight then, win or lose, he could move up to 140, another weight class that is getting heated. There really isn't a huge reason to face Spence.
Plenty of fights at 135/140. 130, 135, and 140 have great fighters. It's not like there isn't anything available for him.

I had a little hope that we would get Loma-Mikey next year, but I'm starting to feel we may never get to see it.

That's his prerogative I guess but I lost interest in him a while back. I'd be surprised if he sticks around after the Spence beating. My guess is he'll retire use the (valid) excuse he was too small but point to being a 4 weight world champion who dared to be great. I think if he fights Spence then he should be congratulated for that since Porter, Swift and Thurman don't appear into fighting Spence but the 4-weight stuff isn't impressive to me because he's barely been a "champion", more of a belt holder.

He's a good fighter who's had a good career and earned well but not a great fighter.

The game is on Sunday, but the all star activities are on Saturday like the dunk contest, 3 pt contest etc. Saturday is the more important day, not the actual game on Sunday.

Maybe so, but in recent years the dunk contest has been hot garbage. It doesn't even bring out the big names like in the past. I guess James by-passing it took its rank down.

The skills contest are usually okay, but its nothing to write home about. I don't think a ppv event will have a hard time competing especially when you can watch the Allstar joints during undercard
