Any way you look at it, it's a backwards step for Whyte and a forward step for Chisora or Parker. Both fights could have been called a draw - especially if the 1st Parker knock-down had been correctly ruled a clash of heads - but Whyte got the nod in 2 close fights. The only reason Whyte's looking at the Chisora re-match is the money, there's no other reason for him to look back when he's trying to get a title shot. I don't think he gives a damn about whether some people think he lost as long as it's on his record as a win.
As for the Chisora re-match being the better one... Well the original was definitely more fan-friendly than the Parker fight, but sequels very rarely live up to the promise of the original.
