    Munguia leaving GBP for TR

Doesn't seem like a good decision! He won't have any big fights over at TR.

Top Rank will feed him cab drivers for the next 4 years before Munguia realizes he made a mistake, then goes back to Golden Boy.

He will make good money. More than the purse Oscar was planning pay him so Canelo could play tether ball with his head.

It may not appear to be a good move on he surface but we dont know what kind of deal he is really getting. If he can make good money while fighting the least resistance, why not take it. This isnt all about glory and all that bullsht . It’s about the money in the real world.

He can take easy fights and always move onto another promoter later on. Age is on his side.

If i am a young boxer, I trust Top Rank more than GBP. Bob arum knows how to bring up young fighters.

Boxing is just all over the damn place! Great for the boxers to have the option of DAZN, ESPN/ESPN+, Showtime and Fox but awful for the fans and it will keep a lot of match ups from happening that we all want to see. I want Hurd vs Munguia more than I do Hurd vs Charlo but I doubt it ever happens regardless if he stays with GBP or goes to Top Rank and that is very bad for the sport

Arum doesn't have ANYTHING for him at 154 or 160, WTF is he going to do fight Carlos Adames and Murata 2 times each for the duration of his career? GBP don't have anything for him at 154 either but he at least have Canelo at 160 in the future

                Exactly.

Golden Boy has done little more than keep their head above water since they lost the Haymon/Schaefer apparatus.

Top Rank and Zanfer have a proven track record of working together to build Mexican fighters from the ground floor all the way to PPV attraction, and I expect that to only get easier with Bob's ESPN deal.

I thought boxers fought people from other promotions all the time .. since when did it become a stable vs stable matchup system? somehow that one slipped by me Boxing is going down the toilet if that's true, and I don't believe that.
