Unification's should definitely be possible for Andrade, Canelo and Jacobs now that they're all on DAZN/Sky (they pulled a blinder signing all 3 MW champs).
The question is whether or not the chasing pack who are not on DAZN/Sky can get their promoters to work out a deal with whichever network they are currently contracted to; whether it's Showtime or ESPN in the US, or BT Sport here in the UK.
It'll be a shame if they can't; the likes of Charlo, GGG (if he continues), BJS (if clean), and Brant are all too good to be wasting effort on nothing fights. Derev' showed why GGG wanted no part of him as a short notice replacement, I can see him getting another title shot within 12-18 months.

Canelo can fight Zurdo on Cinco de Mayo in a Unification if they both get past their next opponents. Canelo can stay at 168 while 160 settles itself out.

I hear ya but 1 BIG problem. Bob Arum. I cant see ESPN and Arum letting him fight on DAZN.

Charlo is scared of Jacobs. He looked shook when Jacobs confronted him. It's not like Jacobs was going to beat him up there and then either and since then Charlo is gone quiet as a mouse and signs to fight Monroe? LOL.

Charlo would be cannon fodder for any of the top middleweights and they know this hence why he won't fight them.

CHARLO has been chasing GG for last 2 yrs but GG doesn't want it. Now that CANELO is 168 a GG VS CHARLO fight is the biggest at 160! JACOBS is not exciting enough for me.

CanCharlo in Dallas Stadium fight is the one I want most by FAR! That wouldbe bigger than GGG IMO. ESPECIALLY if GGG accepts the Charlo fight and loses.

This is the fight that should be made. They're on the same network, so no conflict there. And Jermall gets a title shot. It's not the fight he wants (not Canelo/Golovkin), but it's the fight that has the highest possibility of being made.

I'm a Charlo fan. Now with Jermall and Canelo both fighting in December, the WBC should announce if they are going to order Canelo to defend against Charlo next. If not, Charlo really needs to fight Danny. It is entirely possible that Canelo won't be ordered to fight Jermall until 2020. Charlo shouldn't waste a year- in his prime- waiting.

I can't see Jacobs beating Charlo. Or Canelo. I really can't. He struggled against a sparring partner. Derev had never fought anyone in the top 25 and clearly isn't an elite fighter.

Charlo and Canelo are the two top dogs at middleweight and that is the fight that needs to be made. But Canelo will vacate before fighting Jermall. Which is why Charlo needs to fight Danny. Take Jacobs out of the picture. That leaves Andrade as the only other legit serious opponent for Canelo at 160. Lemiuex is there, but he is more of a tune-up, stay-busy type of opponent. If Charlo fights and beats Danny, that will start to create a real demand for Canelo to fight him. And if the fans demand Canelo fight someone, Canelo will fight that someone. Trout, Lara, and g are proof of that. Until there is a real demand from fans, Canelo can fight at 168 where there are no truly elite fighters (maybe Callum is, I don't know, I've never watched him.)

That sounds like a maybe. It ain't gonna happen next! Canelo will probably unify with Jacobs for Cinco De Mayo 2019! Charlo is azz out with Canelo, Jacobs, and Andrade all with DAZN! Loeffler already said GGG don't want no smoke too! Charlo might have to sign a 1-fight deal with DAZN for Andrade! Those 2 have beef too!

Zurdo has a weird contract with Arum, he has a lot more leeway than anyone else with Top Rank so I think its possible.

No it actually makes the most sense and then the losers fight as well in Septmeber. But this is boxing so, it wont happen. Would love to see Jacobs - Charlo and Andrade - Saunders with the winners fighting as well. Let Canelo fight Fielding and GGG fight Zurdo , then they fight for a 3rd time in September.

Why would GGG and Canelo fight at 68 and why would GGG move up and fight Zurdo for seemingly no reason?

Canelo isnt staying at 68 unless it’s “technically” in the form of a new Canelo weight and he has access to every belt holder at 160 — network wise.


Bjs will likely get Andrade when he comes back.

GGG took a lot of punishment and is sitting out the year anyway so he’ll wait on the result of Fielding-Nelo and either hope he gets Canelo or he can fight Charlo and force it (if Canelo doesnt vacate). GGG is a free agent so he can fight anyone and do a one off for Charlo, etc.

So it’ll be GGG vs Canelo or settle for Charlo (ideally.)

Jacobs doesnt sound like he wants any part of GGG. So he’s looking for Charlo.

I think itll look something like

Charlo vs Jacobs (unless GGG doesnt want to wait)

GGG - Canelo

Andrade - BJS

Now, from there we’ll likely see a fight or two in between big fights as DAZN can maximize and promote.

Andrade-BJS might not happen for anither fight if Andrade decides to figt someone else and BJS needs a “tuneup”.

Dazn is in a good spot to make big meaningful fights at 160 for at least the next 3 years.

I do hope Charlo makes a move and fights at least Jacobs and if he wins, he’ll stay in the running. If Charlo loses even once, he’s done if hes not with dazn. He’s going to hopefully get a crack at one and he HAS to win.
