    Little Odessa Brighton Beach, Brooklyn

In the southernmost parts of Brooklyn, nestled between Coney Island and Manhattan Beach, one can find New York City‘s very own Ukraine, far from Russia of course. Little Odessa, as it has been traditionally coined due to the great number of immigrants from Odessa, is a nickname for Brooklyn’s Brighton Beach. Although the neighborhood has seen a recent influx of different ethnicities ranging from Hispanics, to African Americans and Chinese, the area is known for its predominantly Russian-speaking population. If you ever wondered where the Russians are in New York, Little Odessa is the answer.

Little Odessa holds among the highest concentration of Russian immigrants outside the eastern hemisphere. This vibrant, beachside enclave was the site of the Russian immigration wave to New York City, which dates back to the 1800s. Yet, even today, Russian newcomers find themselves settling in this strange and yet culturally familiar neighborhood of New York. Currently, there are an estimated 700,000 Russians living in New York City. A trip to Little Odessa will bring you to the center of the Russian community of New York. Other neighborhoods Russians call home include Sheepshead Bay, Bath Beach, both in Brooklyn along with Staten Island‘s South Beach.

I agree with you on Mickey, but Berchelt? Other than a puncher’s chance, not much of a chance.

Lomachenko runs the same risk. you are never the same after a shoulder op

You really know nothing about boxing or your hatred for Lomachenko is blinding you from the truth. It amazes me how many bias phony fans are out there who regularly make blatantly wrong and ignorant statements.

As if you're moronic opinion was worth a sht.You Lomos are rediculous with all your nuthuggers fallacies. Lomas by far the most overrated champ in boxing atm. Just because he went pro at an old ass age suddenly you idiots act as if hes anything more than a still unproven up & comer, despite his cherrypicked wbo belts Arum got him.the only fight Loma has done anything of note was vs Linares, the rest were overmatched opponents & weekend warriors,he has only beaten 1 fighter who wasn't smaller than him or who hasn't been destroyed by lesser opponents before him. Facts Deal with them lomasexuals

That's being a little judgemental I'd say. Why do they have to either not know a thing about boxing or be consumed with hate just because they have a different opinion than yours? They are entitled to their opinion, craxy or not. And to keep it a buck, I feel they were probably trolling to bait an emotional response from Loma supporters just for kicks. Dont get so wound up over them, it's a waste of all that good energy homie!

Berchelt may just prove to be a better fighter than Salido if he hasn't already.
