Comments Thread For: Jacobs Wants Big Fights, No Interest In Derevyanchenko Rematch

NEW YORK Daniel Jacobs really respects Sergiy Derevyanchenko. His answer consisted simply of common sense, and wasn't meant as a slight toward his former sparring partner. The newly crowned, 31-year-old IBF middleweight champion cannot envision fighting Derevyanchenko again unless the Ukrainian contender captures one of the other 160-pound championships.

Exactly. Last night fight was a close but clear win for Jacobs. Its time to fight Canelo or somebody else out there.

Yeah, no one is asking for a rematch even though it was a decent fight.

Canelo next is the most logical fight.

Jacobs a good fighter but a terrible ticket seller, not even 5k people in attendance yesterday. He needs to get a name to sell some tickets. Hopefully Charlo finds his balls.

I don't think Canelo is going to fight Jacobs, he's already talking about staying at SMW when he beats Fielding

Boxing is a business a ugly one. Charlo for 1/20th$ of Canella or GGG stop the nonsense he will try his best to fight either one then if all fails Lemieux? Lol

Im not that impressed by Derenckyo or whatever the *** his wack name is. I have no interest in no rematch. Derenkyo is just a solid B lister.
