His words after the fight imply DAZN. If hes gunna rule out a Golovkin rematch because he doesnt have a title, then hes gotta go DAZN.

        perfect business strategy.
He hasn’t went anywhere with Hearn. Very low attendance in his last fight which was held in the Hulu theater of the MSG. And Jacobs was making millions with PBC he’s not getting paid that much more than he already is. I think he’s figured out Hearn is a snake salesman. Jarrell Miller is the same Eddiehas him fighting in a bar in Kansas on a card without a bunch of bums.
        I could be wrong though

Jacobs would be a huge kick in the teeth of Eddie Hearn if he left matchroom; so I suspect he will have to overpay him and keep him. You can see that he is already strategizing the DAZN boxing around two weight divisions; the other being heavyweight - so you can't really afford to let these sort of fighters slip through your fingers

From Jacobs perspective it's probably the better decision anyway as already a few fights available to him of top quality with the DAZN network - he only really has a couple of fights elsewhere and misses opportunity to go for unification short term

Dervy would never beat Charlo lol. And I think pretty much everyone in the industry knows Canelo isn’t fighting Jacobs, that’s just a lie from Hearn to keep Jacobs on the leash. He’s going to keep feeding him to unknown opponents like his last 3 opponents. I believe Charlo also said that the fight between him and Jacobs was being discussed before Jacobs ran to HBO

I'm not expecting him to leave Matchroom, nor did I insinuate that leaving was the most logical path for Jacobs. All I know is that I want to see Jacobs/Charlo which I have more desire to see than Jacobs/Canelo.

Showtime is paying 65-70 million for 12 PBC shows next year. Almost 5.5 million per show. And it still hasn't dawned on you that filed purses are bogus?

LOL this stuff is crazy people are thinking this.

When GGG was making less guaranteed money with HBO he wasn't fighting a bunch of bums. Hell he fought GGG...twice with HBO. Anyone who thinks Canelo won't fight challenging opponents or that DAZN will let him fight 11 Rocky Fielding's in a row don't understand how boxing or contracts works.

I think he'll re-sign with Hearn at DAZN for a better deal then he got probably.

The money is at wherever Canelo is for Jacobs.

Is this confirmed? It's pretty common to have an automatic contract extension if a world title is won. It would be really surprising if that type of clause wasn't in his contract.

EDIT: you mean promoter free agent or network free agent?
