1 - 10-8 Danny. Flash knockdown. Good start for Jacobs.
2 - 10-9 Sergiy. Don't think Danny was too hurt, but he definitely got defensive and gave the round away. Sergiy 's needs to move better laterally.
3 - 10-9 Sergiy. Looks sharp. Landing better shtos right now, but Danny is hammering the body very well. Close round.
4 - Danny. VERYYYY close round. Great shots by both, great round. Could go either way. Sergiy punching a lot, tiring a bit. Not good w body shots he's taking
5 - Sergiy, clearly. Dominant round for the Ukrainian. Hammering Danny's body. If he can keep this up and replcate it, Danny will be in trouble.
6 - very close. Danny I guess. Both are hitting well, but Danny looks like he's almost cruising while Sergiy looks very gassed. I wouldn't be surprised if he runs out of steam and gets KOd in the 9th.. unless his stamina is better than it looks. He needs to take it easy for a round.
7 - got distracted.. can't score.
8 - Danny. Sergiy is resting a bit, or gassing. Either way, not necessarily a bad thing. Eating some uppercuts
9 - Sergiy landing nice shots. Danny taking it easy, barely throwing. Doesn't seem to be tired at all. Think he took that round off in prep for championship rounds, because he knows he's ahead. Smart boxing.
10 - Sergiy doing well. Needs to go in for the kill when he smells blood. Danny still looks cool. He should be in the lead. I expect him to come out STRONG in late 11/early 12.
11 - Sergiy still working hard.
12 - Sergiy did NOT gass weirdly enough. Lederman's card is ridiculous.

So adding it up.. 4 rounds for Danny, 7 for Sergiy with 1 did not watch. Some were very close. GREAT fight for both. This is not 118-112 type fight, much closer. I'll be pissed if it's wide.

Damn I'm glad your not the judge. No offence but 115-112 for Jacobs. I could give Sergi 5 rounds but then 7 for Jacobs. But Jacobs knocked Sergi down so Sergi lost a extra point there. When they review the judges cards I bet the one that scored it for Sergi will have mixed the fighters up because Sergi couldn't score a draw fight and Jacobs be the guy down a point because Jacobs knocked Sergi down. So the one card that was for Sergi will be a UD for Jacobs 114-113. Judge got the guy that got down backwards.

He was landing more power shots than Golovkin did. Has faster feet too.

Yeah he got KD too and GGG never came close to getting KD he did the knocking down and like I said when I saw Jacobs right off the bat I said to my myself he looks way smaller than he did when he fought GGG too like 10lbs smaller and his energy level verified it

115-112 Jacobs to 114-113 Chenko was the range I had for the fight so the cards make sense to me. I did feel a little biased for Sergiy's pressure but I had it 114-113 Jacobs.

Yeah Canelo will have a field day with Jacobs. Jacobs gets KOed vs Canelo. Hate to say it but he will get countered and Canelo can ****. Jacobs is clumsy to which Canelo won't let him get away with being clumsy like Sergi did.

I had Sergei winning 115 - 113 with the 4th round drawn. Jacobs showed some slick defence at times but let himself get outworked, could have won it on my card with more activity.
If I actually paid attention to Sky's commentary team it would have been 120-109, Adam Smith would 100% buy a Danny Jacobs fleshlight SMH.

It was a close fight, Derevenyenchenko lacked a proper left hook and speed. He did show a good chin, right hand, and was the aggressor the whole fight. Jacobs landed the cleaner shots, he was a lot more accurate and composed. A lot of those rounds were pick em rounds. With all of this said I don't think either fighter is an elite talent, I think they're top tier definitely top 10, but not top 3.
