I was listening to DiBella on Mannix today & he was saying with all these streaming platforms that he thinks promoters, or Haymon in this case, could negotiate a better cut with PPV distributors then the ~45% they usually take. So I think its possible prices could go down from the typical $60-$80 range I'd expect of these upcoming PPV's. Possible not likely doe to be clear.

Mikey is willing to take that risk, I don't agree with it, but that is the business end of boxing. Money first. I think Mikey believes that risking his first loss to Loma would expose him and make him fall off the radar just like Rigo, Walters, Linares, etc. A loss to Spence he still gets to keep his LW titles and bragging rights for stepping up. Not the way I would go, but I'm not the one taking the beating.

Ducking Loma & Linares

Ducking those two to fight a bigger killer like Spence? That makes no sense at all. If Mikey is really ducking Loma and Linares all he has to do is not sign a contract to fight them. He certainly doesn't have to fight the most dangerous, hardest punching welterweight in the world. Mikey fighting Spence would be a very brave move, period.
