    He doesn't need a trainer. He needs a therapist.

      So Ali was a racist? he called white boxer a honkey and cracker, Tyson and Hopkins is a racist as well calling out white boys? Yes!
      U sound like the dumb racist white guy who’s basement is littered with swastika’s and Hilter memorabilia, who when asked if he’s a racist states;

      I can’t be, I have a few Black friends.

          I don't agree with all you guys here telling his soul and self-consciousness be taken away by Ward and stuff. I think instead, he's got 2 big problems - that he always had throughout his entire career, btw - but, that, at this stage of its life, are emerging in all their dramatic severity: 1) Stamina issues (28 KO on 32 wins, speak volumes about his boxing ability from one side, but, from the other side, put a serious marking point on his capability to go to the distance, when the opponent is tough enough to stand his best shots). So to say, he probably always had stamina issues, but now, been 35, these issues became more evident, and the opponents know that, if they can survive the early 6-7 rounds, he might be ending gassing out. 2) He's a stubborn guy, like most of the greatest champions. Problem is, if he always kept listening only to himself in 10 years of career, i don't see him starting listening to someone else right now. Long story short:i will support him in rematch as i always did, but to be honest, i see him get KO'd again and call it a day. Hard to believe just thinking at when he was really a Krusher (3yrs ago, btw), but it seems like that supremacy has gone forever.

What do you expect? Boxing is a very rough sport and we as human beungs have physical/mental boundaries.

            Have you ever entered the ring once in your life?

            Talking about "souls" and s**t - keyboard warrior....
            Yes I entered a ring when I was learning the basics and fought against a local professional boxer in a town from my country, only to feel the thrill. He played with me a knock me down with a body shot that I recovered after 2 minutes. The pain was horrible, but at the same time I feel excitement. From this point forward I learned all the basics and now I fight in a ring without head gear and I use 10oz gloves for fun and exercise. Nothing professional. Now that you mention about GGG and Kovalev, I remember the same happen to Chocolatito, he was robbed against Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in the first fight and the second we know what happen. My advise to fighters who experience those problems in the first fight is to not take a immediate rematch. Sometimes immediate rematch turn bad like those cases you mention and Chocolatito. Hell! the same happen to Poland Johanna against Rose in MMA.

              I was disappointed when Andre Ward retire quickly, I was expecting more of him after he got momentum. He retired to early. He was still fresh at that time to fight a few fights.

                Ward has been fighting since he was a child. He went out undefeated.
                There's a great interview with jdj on YouTube where he explains KOV and the monkey pranks against Adonis. People don't give jdj enough credit with making kov better when he listened.

                  My point is that, unless I missed it, it’s been quietly swept under the rug.
                  Look at the post I quoted. "Buddy needs to teach him How to hold"

                  That's something you should already know how to do.

Kovalev quits after this fight. His loss to Ward has scarred his soul. He knows he can be beaten. He is no longer the Krusher. Kovalev reminds me of Mike Tyson who was a bully as long as you let him but when faced with adversity he started to crumble. Alvarez KO 5 Kovalev.

                    It's funny how Kovalev told ward before their rematch that he was going to 'end his career'. I guess he was referring to himself.
                    Kovalev kept on getting back up to fight after getting knocked down over and over by Alvarez. But yeah, he crumbled under adversity.

                    Also funny how Ward retired and hasn’t fought since fighting Kovalev.
