Wilder talks about Joshua because he is asked about him in every interview, just like Joshua is asked about Wilder.
It's a legit fact that Joshua turned down $50 million but seemed like it was more because he doesn't want the fight to be in Vegas.
Wilder accepted Hearn's offer for $15 million but the contract that was sent over was garbage. Basically, there was no agreed upon date, so they wanted Wilder to sign a contract for some date in the future. If Hearn would have put the date for this year, pretty sure Wilder would have signed. This fight was always going to happen in 2019, just wish Hearn would have been more honest with his intentions. Wembley is no good for fights after September and there was no way Hearn was putting on a PPV fight around the same time as the Canelo vs GGG rematch.
Oh, and while selling out stadiums in the UK is impressive, it's been stated from various sources that 20k seats in Vegas brings in greater revenue then selling out stadiums in the UK. Also, PPVs cost like 20 bucks in the UK and usually over 65 in the US which is why they sell better in the UK.
At the end of the day, the fight will be bigger once we have a winner between Fury and Wilder because the winner will end up facing Joshua to completely unify the division, including the lineal title. I would be surprised if the fight didn't happen by the end of 2019.
