If people do not believe Ryan Garcia will be a top/elite fighter, why do they get referred to as being haters? His last outing vs Carlos Morales was extremely questionable. Obviously younger fighters deserve to get the benefit of the doubt considering they still need to 'gain experience.'

The problem is he is being over-hyped by having instagram followers, being the next big thing, etc. Of course he is not to blame for whatever his promotion is doing for him.

But once again, he fought someone who shouldn't have ever been considered a 'good' test, that man being 'Carlos Morales'. and I mean no disrespect to Morales but on paper you have to consider the stats/facts... and Carlos Morales who most people probably do not even know, made RG look average.

Prospects Ryan's age and experience level ain't fighting dudes like Morales. Same Morales who had Machado crawling around the canvas holding on for dear life to make it through their fight last year. Morales was the best fighter that Machado faced before getting the world title. And Machado was much older, way more amatuer and pro experience then Ryan and they both struggled with Morales. If you don't know who Morales is then you don't know shyt about boxing or don't follow boxing. he's top 20-30 fighter and was in a big fight just a year ago with Machado the biggest puncher in the division, world champ and Machado couldn't knock him out.

Ryan Garcia has great speed power but his weakness is defense. He's extemely young with a high sealing to develop now is the time to get him with a top trainer. Reynoso is in high demand right now and stresses defense will help him. His pops took his son as far as he as a trainer bringing in a elite level trainer and taking a back seat so Ryan can reach his potential.

That's some funny shyt I didn't know Ryan doesn't speak Spanish. But that's not that unusual he is Mexican but he was born and raised in the US. He's American more then anything. Tons of second generation kids that don't speak their parents and grandparents language. It's 2018 look at how global boxing is every trainer has numerous fighters in their gym that don't speak the same language. Look at baseball every team has tons of players who don't speak English and managers who speak nothing but English. Use a translator, or his father who used to train Ryan just relays Spanish to English and back and forth.
