Canelo wasn't effective. Golovkin boxed him and used his jab to outscore Canelo. The only guy who's back touched the ropes in that fight was Canelo. Golovkin landed plenty of hard clean power punches and twice as many hard clean jabs in that fight. Those jabs snapped Canelo's head back on a regular basis. The biggest difference in this fight was Canelo got outboxed in the center of the ring rather than along the ropes as in the first fight.

Jabkin could not get his game going in either of the Canelo fights..... no body-work..... no hunting/trapping..... no breaking his opponent down.....

Canelo on the other hand played the role of a boxer in the first fight much better than Golovkin did in the rematch..... he made Golovkin miss and then he made him pay with sharp counters/combo's..... and Jabkin missed a TON of punches, in both fights
