Thats Derevyanchenko´s first and last World title fight. He will lose on points to Jacobs and after this none of the Champs want to fight him. Because Derevyanchenko is a high risk, low reward fight. Similar to Luiz Ortiz at Heavyweight.

Derevyanchenko is definitely NOT a GGG defender. He said in this Interview that Canelo CLEARLY beat GGG in the rematch . Interview ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVB3JQZl0go

              They are morons.

I think if Derevy wins he could be Golovkin’s next opponent.

Golovkin was not going to jeopardize a $30M + payday by fighting a top fighter on short notice.

I don't begrudge him at all. Because anything can happen in a fight. He could've gotten injured, he could've gotten cut, or worst case scenario he could've lost. All these scenarios would've cost him the fight. It just wasn't worth it.

Obviously I would've rather seen this fight than a fight with Vanes, but knowing the situation he was in I can understand the decision he made.

Only person GGG legit ducked was Ward at 164. He should have taken that fight. I think his team made him feel they didn't have confidence in him when they balked at that.

GGG just fought a guy (Vanes) that Jermell Charlo beat @ 154 in 2015! The WBC has ordered Charlo vs. GGG! Let's compare them once they meet in the ring! And if they don't meet in the ring, then for your sake (and the many like you), let's hope it's not GGG who SWERVES the fight!

The WBC announced during its convention Wednesday in Kiev, Ukraine, that Canelo Alvarez can make a voluntary defense of its middleweight title in his next fight

Would have been better than seeing him dispose of Vanes with the quickness
