Amazing watch that..... I enjoyed the 2 journeymen going at it but it was good seeing Floyd against that guy! I never seen much of early Floyd but even back then against such an unorthodox fighter like Augustus he was totally cool under fire and picking his punches amazingly.

Wow, man. I had no idea these two guys fought. Always loved watching both of them. Damn, what a sad ending. Man, and in a war to boot. Gotta praise Ray for his courage and Augustus for showing true compassion as well. And damn, what a breakdown by you, my man. You keep going. That was an excellent analysis and with perfect clips to boot!

Feel so bad for Sucra Ray though. I used to root for him against everybody. Always gave the crowd tons of action. He wasn't on the highest level or anything but what a warrior!

I'm only one degree of separation from Ray. I worked (as a cook) with one of his sparring partners in downtown New Bedford. He was A stocky middleweight with hands as big as mine. I'm 6'4". Back in the day, he said every time you saw Ray across from you, you knew you were going home with a headache. Ray's a local legend I'd love to meet.
