Alvarez is 34 he probably only has another 3-4 good fights left in him. But, he's fairly popular in quebec, not pascal, bute, or Lemieux level. But, I'd say his win over Kovalev was about as big as Stevenson win vs dawson.

Why are they still on the website. Hell it mentions both guys last fights with Johnson and Kovalev.

They might as well have Canelo and Bud Crawford on the website lol.

Alvarez will look for the best deal for him, but if the packages are close, it's fairly certain that he's sticking with PBC (Showtime/FOX/FS1).

Stevenson is with Showtime/CBS (PPV in Canada), Beterbiev has one more fight on DAZN (though he has the dispute), and Alvarez is shopping, and all three are with Yvon Michel.

          Let him get by February
ROFL these boxers getting ****d having three to four different managers. Why not just hire one guy to do the job?

Most Quebec fights are pov even smaller cards are 10 dollar ppv. Pascal vs bivol won't be shown on HBO in Canada it will be a ppv. Espn doesnt exist in Canada. The ESPN app doesn't work in Canada. So it would be very easy to give ESPN american rights and keep Canadian rights on ppv. Dazn would probably have to work out a very good deal and black out Canada. I think he goes with ESPN

Depends on the fighter, I guess. In a perfect world, you'd turn pro with Al Haymon guiding you, your parent as your trainer/manager and be done with it.

Others don't get things as cut/dry.

Alvarez, I believe, was a Columbian Olympian, and somehow found his way to Montreal, impressing Yvon Michel enough to start him. At some point, Haymon comes along as an ancillary piece, with his reputation making the move a no-brainer.

Alvarez now gets to focus solely on preparing to fight, while his camp (Michel staging the fights/talking with promoters, Haymon making sure that the money is what it's supposed to be, and likely whomever brought him from Columbia making sure that the deal points make sense.

Peace of mind is worth it's weight in gold.

He'll wait to see where the other titles go. Whats the point on going to Showtime/Fox if Stevenson gets beat? Whats the point in going with ESPN if Gvozdyk gets beat? Then what if Bivol goes to DAZN and 2 of the titles are there?
