Comments Thread For: Eleider Alvarez Reviewing Offers From ESPN, PBC and DAZN

WBO light heavyweight champion Eleider Alvarez (24-0, 12 KOs) is a very hot commodity. Alvarez appeared on HBO back in August, when he pulled off a stunning seven round knockout of Sergey Kovalev to capture the WBO title in Atlantic City. There is a rematch scheduled for February 2nd in Texas, with ESPN televising the bout.

Alvarez looks like a villain from a DC movie with that perm slicked to the back

If he was still with GB he would be with DAZN.

He is, but he's not contractually tied down to fight for networks PBC has deals with like Showtime and FOX.

Beterbiev and Emmanuel Rodriguez are PBC fighters and fight on DAZN.

                    LOL.

In fairness I think people confuse this PBC thing in general & these deals with ESPN & DAZN "renting" guys is a lil weird to for a lot of cats.
