            Forms of PPV have always been around in boxing. Before home PPV, boxing used to be watched in closed circuit theatres.

            Muhammad Ali's fights against Foreman and Frazier in the '70s sold 50-100 million tickets in theatres worldwide, before being watched by a billion people on free TV. Thats how huge boxing was in the '70s.
