I think you're either extremely hopeful or extremely naive. I wanna see these two fight better competition. point blank period. They have the goods, they've passed the eye test. But when was the last time they faced a real challenge? if ever? Worn out Trout? As far as Jermall goes at 160 he's done nothing. Idc who the wbc had ranked you and I both know those rankings are absolute b.s. and the corrupt ass WBC isnt gonna enforce anything on Canelo.
These are the facts: Jermell has no excuse to be fighting a guy like Harrison at this point when he can be fighting Lara or Hurd. Jermall has fought two pointless fights at 160 chasing a payday. Beating Willie Monroe and then sitting around complaining on twitter does him no favors and gets him no closer to GGG or Canelo. Right now he's following the Amir Khan blueprint to a tee.
These fighters have no excuses for ducking the Charlos but you are defending them for ducking & shetting on the Charlos. How the F does THAT work? LMMFAO!
Yeah dummy. Tell me which crap fight I have said was a good fight?
I told your dumbss nearly two years ago that Charlo needed to create buzz by fighting better opposition. That was his only chance to get Canelo or GGG, by creating public buzz. I said otherwise he would be sitting around until late 2019 to get a Canelo or Golovkin fight. Hell it may be until 2020 if ever.
Fighters are ducking the Charlos & you b!tchin' about the Charlos. Goes to show where your head is at, up your a*s.
A few issues. First being the Charlo's are good but they need exposures so while they do need to up their quality fighting anyone in a big spot is helping their cause because they are very likely to look impressive over these guys.
154 Charlo is basically lining up with Hurd and that is the next fight for him with Hurd fight in early December their schedules are pretty much aligned. Those two fighting separate in fairly big spots helps that fight grow a bit as people will continue to talk about it especially as both look good.
160 Charlo faces a much murkier situation because his best options are not really on his side of the street. He needs to keep his name out there so the only way to do that is fight, just his options aren't that great at the moment.
wrong. Jacobs and Derevyanchenko ARE NOT likely coming to pbc. Jacobs is about to reup with Hearn.
BJS won’t want to fight Charlo when he can fight the champs at DAZN for more money. Plus Haymon isn’t risking his guys vs BJS when he doesn’t have any stake in him. Plus bjs will be Andrades mandatory and have a direct shot
That’s why DAZN has 160 on lock.
And when he doesn't, what are you giving up?
Canelo Alvarez is getting $33m a fight, for his next 11 fights; if you're envisioning DAZN being happy to spend $45m on Canelo-Jacobs (simple math; assuming a 3:1 Canelo split) for maybe 200k people to watch, you're dreaming.
Beyond that, Billy Joe Saunders and his promoter, in any fight on the PBC side of the fence, would also get the UK rights to the fight, worth who knows what to BT Sport/BoxNation.
are you high or just ignorant? Alberto Machado is a DAZN fighter too. SMH. There are plenty of fights for him there. Berchelt will likely be an ESPN fighter and if he doesn't end up there permanently he is going to DAZN too lmaaoooo. That leaves Gervonta out on a island by himself fighting blown up bantamweights and featherweights like Mares and Cuellar. He really should go to the DAZN too cuz all the 130s are DAZN or ESPN and we know hes not going to ESPN
If Machado was actually a DAZN fighter, he wouldn't have been basically brought in for one fight. Or Jarell Miller on a 1 and 1, or Beterbiev on a two-fight deal, or Farmer on a two-fight deal, lol.
Canelo Alvarez is a DAZN fighter, Demetrius Andrade is a DAZN fighter, Jessie Vargas is a DAZN fight, "Albanian Bear" Reshat Mati is a DAZN fighter, and you have a few other prospects to add to that.
Everyone else is floating, whether you want to acknowledge it or not.
