Another MMA fighter calling out a retired fighter who is 12 years older, 25-30lbs lighter, and who has only fought once in 3 years. Typical of MMA fighters. If he was truly the badass he thinks he is why is he not calling out someone his own size like Canelo Alvarez. I am sure he would get paid just as much money.

What is it with MMA fighters who like to call out boxers who are much older and much smaller than they are. Very chicken **** if you ask me. Not once have you heard a MMA fighter call out a boxer who is active, their own size, and not over 40 years old.

Floyd was never a KO puncher, but there's also a world of difference in the gloves. Boxing gloves are weighted and big. MMA gloves are only padded on the knuckles.

Why do you think honestly. A novice boxer khabib own weight would beat him. So the idea of facing a legendary fighter who is 42 years and not known for his punching power may convince gullible fans that the MMA fighter may have a shot. If there is at all interest you can not blame the MMA fighter as he will be paid handsomely and you definitely can’t blame the boxer because it will be easy money

Maybe im im the minority here but i truly believe if khabib and floyd really did fight, the ppv would totally bomb. Well here in america at least. We watched floyd carry conor for almost 10 rounds, a fight floyd didnt even train for mind you and now u want me to believe that floyd fighting a wrestler in a boxing match is going to do good ppv

I actually hope it bombs as well! If floyd wants to fight let him earn his 9 figures by boxing a relevant boxer.

Does anyone genuinely believes this will happen? I get the Connor fight happening being he's a walking billboard but nobody knew Khabib outside of the MMA world before October. It doesn't hurt to try but I doubt this actually happens.

Dana said the other day no one has contacted him in regards to a Khabib fight. If the fight is gonna be made they are gonna have to go through Dana. So I don't think this is a real thing...or a real thing yet cuz I got burned thinking the Floyd vs McConor fight wasn't going to happen so I'm more open to crazy sh^t now.

Dana would sue Mayweather promotions and CBS/Showtime. It would stop them immediately.

That's how he stopped Randy Couture from fighting Fedor in Affliction. He sued the promotions. And that was supposed to happen in Russia.

If the Dec. 31 fight thing is legit, which I'm not saying it is or isn't, to me Floyd vs Khabib sounds like a matchup that would be a type of fight you'd be going for on one of those crazy big Japanese New Years combat sports cards. Bob Sapp fought Akebono the great sumo wrestler on one of those cards lol.

I would be concerned for Habibs safety and would advise the boxing commission to deny the request for this fight.
