Personally I think Loeffler should have bee fired years ago and I've posted that numerous times. Their camp seems to be on different pages. Golden Boy out manuvered Loeffler at every turn except when Golovkin threatened to walk away to get an equitable split. For example no rematch clause for either fight. A fight against Canelo who has a history of questionable scoring. Damned near everyone knew that Golovkin had to KO Canelo to get a win. Hey if it's Gennady that's OK with it well then he needed a reality check. I think it's Loeffler that's a problem.

This reminds me of Pacquiao/Márquez. Marquez needed a definitive win and he got it in their fourth fight. GGG needs a definitive win because as long as Canelo is boxing's biggest draw, no matter how good you are, judges will favor the money machine. I feel that GGG won the first one clearly. The second one was close but I still gave it to GGG by a round or two. I hope the third one happens.

Canelo does not need Golovkin nor does he need to give him and his band of whiners another payday. But to be charitable here's a thought Golovkin fights Charlo and the winner fights Canelo. Here's another thought Golovkin fights Callum Smith and the winner fights Canelo.

lol I always cheer against Canelo because of his Diva nature, and preferential treatment by the judges. I had GGG winning both fights, but c'mon GGG basically has nowhere to go for another career payday other then chasing Canelo again. If GGG was a fraud all along just beating up bums, then Loeffler is a brilliant promoter. If GGG was really an elite boxer, then Loeffler is one of the worst promoters, wasting GGG's prime fighting bums while his career is defined by chasing Canelo.

Ggg needs to fight someone to set up the 3rd fight. Not just sit on his hands and get older.

But he won't so we get this fight again til 2019 Sept or May 2020 so ggg fans can cry Canelo waited him out again. When ggg isn't even active until early to mid 2019! Needs to heal his face. And won't fight anyone to build buzz. He will look for the safest tomato can and say it's to protect the Canelo fight.

Now that's a little more delusional than expected. With the win on the rematch and canelo's new ridiculously generous contract. Loeffler has come into conclusion that Canelo needs GGG even more.
