i love a good bloodbath like most fans, but every once in a while i can help but feel bad for seeing a fighter take a frightful beating. A few recent one I remember are

Dorticos vs Gassiev-- he lasted as long as he could but finally his body gave out

Douglas vs Khurtsidize-- went about 3 rounds too long

Even though it’s old and the fighters are long gone, I actually had to turn off the Ike Williams vs Beau Jack fight before the ref stopped it.

You can literally just see Williams smashing Jacks head around like a speed ball, pleading with the ref to stop it in between combinations. I dunno why but it just got to me.

I found that pretty sickening to watch. Refs in the day did not give a f**k

Can't watch youth boxing myself. It's not worth the risk to their baby brains. I'm a wreck from bell to bell and don't really want to see a single punch connect.

          How young?

I've only been to one amateur card where they had lil lil kids boxing. I think the youngest kids were like 8 or 9 years old. And it felt really weird watching it cuz they were so lil. But I know some of the greats were boxing at that age back in the day & some of the future greats are boxing at that age now I bet.

Randomly at that show I only remember one lil kid. I remember him cuz his name was Salvador Sanchez. And I specifically remember him cuz he took an L that night & he was crying like a lil kid might cry. I'm sure his dad realized that night he made a mistake naming his kid Salvador.

There is no such thing as too violent. If they let people fight to the death, most people would watch it. The ppvs for a true death match would destroy every record there is. Only two rules would be no weapons and no choking.

Any Fury fight (as to the sheer violence, I'm referring to the crowd)!

In recent times the groves/gutnekt fight and eubankjr/blackwell fights considering the aftermaths of both and having watched both fights in full. Also seeing prichard colon in his current condition was sad although I didnt watch the fight that caused that.
