People in the gym definitely speak highly of Spence's pop, but in terms of single shot power, I don't think it is all that great. If it was, he would have dropped Peterson a lot earlier. Spence's strength is he is consistent round in and round out with his offense that he is hitting you with hard shots from the opening bell until the end. Compared to a guy like Thurman who has heavy hands early in fights but then tends to fade a bit after the halfway mark.

After seeing Crawfords performance against gimp legs Benevidiz I favor Spence

Before that fight I favored Crawford, but Crawford had trouble with a longer taller fighter and only got him out there when he tired out

Spence is tall, powerful and has a good gas tank.

Spence is a loaded puncher meaning he has to load up and throw hard to KO you

Real heavy punchers don't have to throw like they swinging a baseball to crack you

I remember Tim Bradley said if Pacman wanted to he could really kill guys with his power, but Pac wobbles you and dazes you with arm shots grazing shots that he barely puts any mustard on

When Pac did throw Errol Spence type punches he knocked Hatton out cold. That was the first time I seen Pacman really load up a shot like how Spence does when he fights and he knocked a dude out cold Spence just batters you to the head and body making it sting and you finally cant take the power punches and you drop your guard and its lights out

I agree that Spence will beat Crawford but not because he is bigger because he isn't. Crawford weighed 157 on fight night for Horn and he was all lean bone and muscle with no fat. Spence weighed 156 on fight night for his last fight. So there is no size or weight difference. I think Spence wins because his boxing skills are almost as good as Crawford's boxing skills and he hits much harder, takes a punch better and throws more punches a round than Crawford. Spence will get the KO in my opinion just he has KOed everybody he has fought for years now. MAN DOWN!

i got crawford on this one... spence had trouble with kell brooks until he got tired....Crawford was just as fresh in round 12 as he was in round 1 against Benividiz....similar to cotto vs margarito but the only thing is crawford wont fade late in the fight....crawford is just a better all around fighter to me.

To Lamont’s credit, he’s a tough durable guy and you could say the same about Crawfords power in terms of single shots.

If the fight gets made, then that is what will happen.
