    Danny v Sergeiy

Didn't know much about Sergeiy and just watched some of his fights...gonna be a good fight on Saturday.

Danny is taller, fast hand speed, and a good jab (which he'll need)

Sergeiy is smaller, has good defense, and is a natural counter-puncher -- although he's an aggressive/stalking counter-puncher

Danny takes first few rounds, but I can see Sergeiy breaking Danny down honest to God. Can also see Sergeiy getting stopped early or mid rounds from getting hit by something he didn't see (he's very prone to uppercuts also).

    My pick is Sergeiy UD

    Major points ---

Sergeiy is fighting without Rozier (his former and Danny's trainer)

Danny says he will stay within IBF 2nd day weights

Danny likely to win at least first 2 rounds using jab and movement similar to GGG fight

Puzzling fight considering how little is known about the Russian but I assume team ggg dodged him for a reason. Should be a good sc****. Danny is the more proven commodity so I'll pick him but wouldn't be a bit surprised to be wrong

Danny did not look good against Sulecki or Arias. Danny will win first couple of rounds, but Segeiy cuts the ring off well and goes to the body with good upper body movement.

This will not be an easy fight for Danny and may even be ugly as Sergeiy kind of smothers opponents (since he is pretty short/small), but he wears them down.

The difference between GGG and Sergeiy is that Sergeiy wants to fight on the inside and Gennady doesn't. In some ways Sergeiy is like a hybrid of Ward and Loma (Sergeiy seems to do a lot of lateral movement while on the inside while loading up on wide shots to body and head)

Dominates Arias claims he looked bad against Arias.

I have Derevyanchenko in a Upset, don't like the way Danny looked in his last 2 Fights seems to be declining

Derevyanchenko is a SHIFTY Compact Powerful Boxer/Puncher who I think have the style similar to Pirog where he can catch Jacobs with something he doesn't see coming he is very shifty similar to his fellow Ukrainian fighters Loma and Usyk, have those Soccer/Futbol Feet is what i call them. Also is NASTY to the body, I'm a HUGE fan of body punchers which is why I'm a fan of his. We seen one upset at 160 with Brant winning, I think we could see one more next week. Nothing against Jacobs, I hope I'm wrong for his sake, I don't care who wins but something been telling me "Derevyanchenko" since this fight been announced

I definitely agree with the above. Sergeiy has a very good boxing pedigree. He does get hit, but usually is moving away/deflects part of the punch.

While Danny is strong and fast his boxing is very orthodox and Sergeiy comes off as a thinker. I see Danny having diminishing offensive success and Sergeiy having evolving offensive success...and he'll definitely catch Danny a few times when he's not ready.

We'll see how Danny handles those surprises, but I don't expect things to go well for Danny who hasn't looked good since his close loss to Gennady

Do you rank Arias highly? The dude was no better than Danny Garcia's Rod Salka. And that's not even being mean. He is legit Rod Salka level...

My understanding is that they split the camp; Rozier training Jacobs and Gary Stark Sr (Rozier's #2 in the gym but a respectable trainer in his own right who already works with SD) training Derevyanchenko.
