Big pay down the toilet for Golovkin. Will be interested to see what the next play is. No fight out there excluding Canelo is going to make him big bank.

From a fan perspective that is good. Be curious to see what he does but money will be the big consideration first off.

I think team Golovkin’s plans were really blown up tonight. If he is just looking for one last big fight and really doesn’t have the heart anymore to fight then he’ll play it safe and try and get one last shot at Canelo.

I think tonights result will mean he probably teams up with DAZN very soon. He's already been approached by them anyway.

That said, he could remain a bit of a free agent. Maybe he doesn't need to sign a multi fight deal with any broadcaster and just do it fight by fight. Some fighters fight on DAZN without being tied to them, like Saunders was going to. But what would the point be anyway? If you're not on DAZN as a middleweight right now, you're basically out in the wilderness.

I'd imagine he will sign a multi fight deal, knowing that if he wins some good fights there, it makes the rematch with Canelo more likely.

Brant completely derailed the GGG/Murata plans lol. I like Murata but I'm happy for Brant. I feel like Murata and most of us to be honest were looking past Brant. But like commentary said, Brant sticked to his gameplan and he believed in himself. That's all that matters and his win tonight was a feel good moment. Good for him!

Gold medalists in Amateurs doesnt mean you will be the best person in boxing. I think boxing has taught us that many times.
