How good is this kid daniyar yeleussinov

He's a decorated amateur. Gold medalist. Didn't lose a single round in the Olympics. Is trained by JDJ. Is the hype real and warranted?

When he lets loose it looks amazing, great punch selection, all angles. Problem is he does it about 3 times in a whole fight. No power either.

Yo he looks good! Man we won't see him fight any legit competition for a few years even though he's 27.

His fight at york hall vs Szabo nearly sent me to sleep.

fantastic technical ceiling for his amateur pedigree but good lord it does not transition well into the pro boxing scene where people demand excitement and entertainment.

i wanted to believe the hype, but unfortunately he looks very hittable, and doesnt have much punch variation or power.

he has a excellent style for the amateurs

time will tell how he develops as a pro

we will need to see him in there with reasonably solid guys before making any big calls

there is something to be said about having a decorated amateur career..... but there is also something to be said for learning the pro game from a reasonably young age

lots of great amateurs struggled with the pro game

Hopefully Daniyar Daniyarvich Danovkin (DDD) doesn't waste his career fighting bums and then when he finally steps up in competition gets lit up like a Christmas tree on the 4th of July

Looks to be beating up Jacobs in a sparring match from 3 years ago

I’ve liked the kid since the amateurs he’s the real deal imo.
