    You took 2 long BoB
He preferred Loma, but Loma drew a hard line in the sand on the weight issue, and Manny didn't want to suck himself down to 135.

He had no problems at all with feeding Manny to Crawford except for Manny asking for a 20 million guarantee.

No matter what Crawford does in his career he will never be nowhere near as good as the great Manny Pac was . Pac faced hall of famers cotto Mosley Oscar Hatton Floyd barrera 2 Morales 3 Juan Marquez 4 easy the best fight act the barrera Marquez Pac and Morales since hagler hearn Duran sugar ray he was the best of them. and even though he lost to Floyd at end of there careers Pac should be classed as the bigger legend in future years

I remember Crawford saying he'll take the Pac fight at 140.
    There you go, a roadblock.

Crawford looked every bit of 31 vs Benavidez. other welters think it's sweet now. they smell blood.

Crawford started doing a whole lot of talking after he re-signed and realized he's in "protective custody ".

A similar situation would be Charlo signing long term to exclusively fight on Showtime, then calling all the middleweights on DAZN out.

Crawford knew what he was getting into. Might as well start beefs with Machine Dude or whoever his next realistic D level opponent will be.

That’s when Loma became an option.
This is on record, makes me really wonder if Pac really said Crawford is avoiding him or it might be a mistranslation.

People keep ignoring this point though lol Why stay there? We saw this situation coming 2 years ago. Surely he did too.

Lucky to get past Broner? Is Broner gonna magically get good all of a sudden? The dude couldn't beat Jessie Vargas for Christ sake. I'd take Pac at 50 to beat Broner in his Prime. The dude doesn't let his hands go and stands there getting hit all night. He's a B level guy and Manny is not gun shy just yet. Easy W for Pac.

not commenting on who would win.....

but I don't think there is any truth whatsoever in the story that Crawford was scared to take that fight

he had everything to gain from that matchup
