Everyone knows that fight wasn't happening next. Not news.

Its not happening because their side is unwilling to make it by their own admission. There is no way to twist this.

The fight will happen when it's ready. No one was expecting them to fight next no matter how many people want it next. Crawford just fought his 2nd fight at 147.

Both guys want the fight that's all that matters.

One side is already willing to fight next.

Funny the 'less experienced' little 140 pounder that PBC-Boys claim is not a 'real' welterweight is ready but the 'BIG-DOGS' dont want it yet.

Next thing you know these guys are going to start arguing that Crawford needs to build his resume hehe!

Let each fighter lose their primes first doe,
                then make the fight happen!

Don't see why they need to let it build. Neither guy is going to get much bigger anyway.

Crawford is 31 now and fighting his Top Rank opponents isn't going to raise his profile. Spence is a very inactive fighter. You can't build a profile fighting every 10 months against someone like a shot Peterson. That's even without factoring in that neither have much personality or any crossover appeal.

So all that's going to happen by trying to let it build is they won't be at their best and still around the same level of popularity.
