Bud was tryin to fight Manny at top rank when they were both there & T.B.E. has nothing to do with that. Floyd also tried to get us Tank/lomo but tank didn't want it..Manny is not at his former top form & broner is not a top fighter but a good fighter which makes for a entertaining match up. It also makes $ense & adds to a resume. And Floyd shouldn't fight anymore..

He has a mostly casual fanbase. I at boxing gym 4x a week and while its tru ppl respect his skills, mostly ppl talk about how they wish he woulda fought pac in 09. Or mosley in prime etc etc. Now casuals are the trendy hip hop mainstream guys who like bragging and money talk. No disrespecet but his fans are majority casual. And also factor in those casuals turned alot of hardcores off. Just my opinion but an honest and educated one

Mayweather is going to seriously need psycho therapy when he can no longer fight because he is too desperate for attention and money. He must be just too shallow because a lot of rich people later in life discover that the money doesnt fill all the holes in their lives and they find new meaning. Floyd is is an empty soul. Maybe when he gets age-related ailments and diseases he may find himself but he is one lost puppy desperate to take credit for everything he can.

This is why Floyd gets criticized so much. He wants to be tbe but makes duck like moves. I usually defend Floyd but this makes him look like a coward when you call out a world champion boxer to fight then do a complete 180 and say you want to fight someone that has no professional boxing experience.

Then his name is built up and ready for guys like M. Garcia, Porter and Spence. Get past those young, hungry lions, then let Floyd retire him 120-108 for $150 million.
