Completely disagree with this... at the time many people were calling for Floyd to fight him, many even accused him of ducking Canelo, once Mayweather dealt with him the way he did everyone come to the conclusion he was too green, which they're probably right.

But it was the second most desired Mayweather fight at the time (coming second to Pac). Can't blame Mayweather for fighting someone they asked him to, and Canelo even said after the weight didn't make any difference and he lost to the better boxer. Plus Canelo learned a lot from that loss and it probably contributed to him being a more complete fighter now.
