Correct, Golovkin won't fight Charlo, but main reason there is just no money in it, so why would he ? He's on the cashout highway, and he'll fight whoever can generate a decent payday. Murata can provide a decent payday (not Canelo level, but some decent Yen there), Charlo can't.

As for Charlo, I really hope he is as good at MW as people seem to think as it will add some much-needed excitement and depth to the division once Golovkin is gone, but he's still relatively new and untested. Might be better if he had a couple of showcase fights against the likes of Lemoo and N'Dam first before we start tooting his horn too much (assuming he beats them both convincingly).

Yes, it would be great if Charlo wins Lemieux convincingly like Saunders did. But he beat Trout who is not a bum. Canelo also didn't beat some decend MWs before facing GGG.
