Those were the cash cows. But that is a completely different argument.
dummy pacquiao mayweather sold over 4 million... only mayweather vs macgregor was on par with it....since then the numbers have fallen and the proof is right in front of you.
Canelo vs golovkin was just 1.1 million the last fight and those two are the biggest fight you could have made in boxing now.
Ward vs kovalev did 250k Sales and your talking as if 300k is something to be proud of..it's pathetic numbers compared with the numbers of a de la Hoya , pacquiao , mayweather.
Your that ****in ****** it's right in front of you and still cannot see it lol
Who else will take over the numbers of Pacquiao, mayweather and to a lesser extent Canelo ? Zilch that's who so PPV are fading out and with Canelo now with DAZN streaming watch it fade out even quicker.
Mind you anybody that will pay 80 or 90 dollars a PPV must have a low IQ ..and here you are trying to say PPV are still relevant, that says everything I need to know about you...thick as ****

You moron, so does that mean PPV was never a thing since before Mayweather/Pacquiao no PPV had done over 2.5 million? What are you even saying here?

Just read my prior response to your post.

I'm saying 300k is pathetic for a world heavyweight title fight between an American champion and an ex champion..which is the tue most profitable fight wilder can have outside of AJ ...and your speaking as if it's great numbers lol that's my point.
It's not if it does the those numbers.

It'd be the most successful heavyweight PPV in America since Roy Jones beat John Ruiz over 15 years ago.

... that fight produced 602,000 PPV sales...
... but you seem to forget Lennox Lewis vs. Mike Tyson (2002), which made no less than 2,720,000 PPV units...
