I like Floyd but he seems to be jealous that other fighters are getting attention now.

Floyd just responded to a dude that called him out first on the day he signed his huge new deal.

I get you may feel this way but in no way does him responding in kind illustrate him being jealous of Canelo getting attention.

Mayweather not hurting the sport of boxing at all, if anything him and Pacquiao made these Mega Deals possible because people see how much their fight Generated and all these Networks and Apps hopes to one day get an event as big as that was regardless of the fight being SH_T

That's exactly right. Nobody realized that boxing could create a 1 day event that made over $700M in one night. Then comes back and does it again with another $700M night.

He set the table, and now the fighters are getting more money because of it.

Mayweather and the UFC (their Fox TV deal set a benchmark for combat content) are responsible for the bigger purses we see today.

Floyd comes off really jealous and insecure. Like dude enjoy retirement instead he comes out every time to say something when somebody signs a big fight, lands a big contract, on the eve of somebody else's PPV. I don't know if this is a mid life crisis or he just can't stand the fact that the sport is moving on without him. You had your time it's somebody else's time now. Some people just really struggle moving on to the next stage of their career. He should put more focus on trying to build and keep his own fighters happy like Davis and others who keep taking shots at Floyd and complaining about him hating on them and not promoting them.

Canelo making 73 mil a year and he 13 years younger than mayweather.

Im not a canelo fan but he right stop fighting mma fighters and fighting somebody with a pulse.

No but Jordan did diss Kobe and Lebron when he was done playing. These old dudes on some grumpy old man get off my lawn youngster type shyt. You have some legends/greats that pass the torch to the next generation with grace and others that hold on dissing anyone coming up after them because they feel threatened they will surpass their legacy or because they just want to keep reliving their youth. Either way you see it in every sport not just boxing. Some greats shake the hands of who got next and tell them go get it and others give the finger and try to tell everyone how much better things were when they did it and throw shade of who got next.
