I watched the whole video and I still don't have a clue what Eddie Hearn's role is in DAZN.

Basically all he said was of course we was involved because he's already involved with DAZN, Canelo is huge for the whole platform, and he didn't have anything to do with the actual signing because he's in no way involved with the actual deal.

Alright, well, we already knew all of that. What is it Eddie Hearn is meant to be with in DAZN outside of a contracted promoter? It seems like he does an awful lot of dancing around the subject because he wants to come off as more important than just a promoter contracted to DAZN, but if Eddie is in charge of DAZN boxing why isn't Eddie signing contracts for DAZN even when promoters go around Matchroom?

I know....questioned the Hearn, must be hating. Whatever, this dude never makes any damn sense. I'll wait for Oscar or that German dude to break it down. All I really want to know is if Eddie became more than a promoter, why no one congratulated him on that, and how doesn't that break the Ali act?

Ali act covers boxers and promoters, no? Could be that Sky see his true role in DAZN (suspect Head of Boxing) would be a conflict of interest if revealed publicly.

ooooo I kinda want to believe that, even though I'm a Wilder fan and I understand the implications, just because it's so damn shifty.

Eddie Hearn you shifty bastard that you are!

the ignorance of the people on this forum is astounding. there are 2-3 shows in town that can get you HBO kind of money now that HBO is out of the business. do eddie's fanboys really think GBP was going to not take phone calls from dazn? they'd be absolutely f#cking nuts, there are only two other avenues you can realistically go, showtime / CBS or ESPN / abc / disney.

eddie hearn is an asbsolute master salesman. he's a master. every single part of every single sentence is deisgned with his objectives in mind, promote and sell his product. the guy is a hard working master of his craft.

but he did not make this deal! he'll benefit from it for sure, he's got MWs who will get a shot at canelo's legitimate championship.

Hearn benefits because I signed up to DAZN for Canelo, but until he fights in December and GBP stable becomes active on the app, I've been watching all of Joshua's fight replays, and all the other replays on DAZN that feature Matchroom fighters.

What was Hearn doing at the L.a meeting with Skipper when signing Canelo ? Was he there for laughs or what ? Delahoya had nothing to do with the deal either so who did? it was Hearn who is in charge of all DAZN budget and promotion, without him there would be no need to hire him in the first place. How come no one can answer why Hearn was at the press conference if he has nothing to do with the deal ?
