Why does it bother you though?
Why would Eddie do that to rocky? Fighters fight all of their lives hoping to get an opportunity to headline a huge fight like this Vs the most popular of his era.

oh I wasn't recommending it, just saying he might've thought about it, but of course if Fielding wins by KO (his only chance) his life changes forever plus it's great timing for Eddie Hearn anyway, he's now nice and cozy alongside the DAZN / Canelo deal and right from the start.

you have a forum full of what i can only assume are soccer fans in their teens or 20's spouting absolute nonsense about american boxing.

eddie hearn did not sign canelo. he does not own dazn. he

again, you are creating this idea that ameicans are mad about this. we pay 100 dollars for a PPV. you think i'm mad about a 120 dollar a year service that will give me multiple PPVS? are you that f#cking ******?

i'm mad about you! i'm mad that you're this f#cking ****** and wasting my time on a boxing forum! you have shifted the narrative once again, and it's obviously contingent on you beliveing that eddie hearn is responsible for this or that he's controlling any aspect of it.

the main reason this happened is HBO. they are out of boxing, and they used to put on the best PPV experience by far and have histprically [until floyd mayweather's showtime contract,] been #1 with a bullet in US ppv. once they left GBP is going to talk to the major players in boxing that are left. showtime, ESPN, and DAZN.

you need to stop with this idea that me taking the time out of my busy day to educate gyou guys, who are clueless and f#cking need it, is somehow me being mad. i'm correcting your mistakes, which are to believe that eddie hearn orchestrated this or is profiting from it. i'm correcting the incredibly ****** idea that GBP would not have made a deal with DAzn after HBO left. again, HBO ****ING LEFT BOXING, AND THEN THIS HAPPEDNED IMMEDIATEY! WHY DO YOU THINK EDDIE DID IT? HBO DID IT! and then i'm insulting you for being clueless and petulant. which, believe me, in light of the facts of the situation and how far off base you all are, is deserved.

brits in teh time of anthony joshua will be remembered int eh same light as partisan pacquiao and floyd mayweather fans during 2009-20015. they literally ruined the forum. thanks
Hahaha I'm being petulant, look at your response, you are getting mad, yet I'm petulant.

And to the last paragraph...***** please, I was here before you and I'm sure long after you. I've seen your agenda here ever since the DAZN Matchroom deal got announced, you're part of a sour group of American fans, that first said this would get no traction, then said no real stars would come over, now this,

"well well it's got nothing to do with Hearn" It's pathetic.

Eddie Hearn put DAZN on the map, HBO decided to opt out and yes that limited Canelo's options, but don't pretend the deal had nothing to do with Eddie Hearn, hes spent the last several months promoting DAZN. He was apart of the dialogue and in the meetings with GBP. You don't think the Fielding negotiations led to talks with DAZN, the fact that Hearn has Jacobs and Andrade had anything to do with it? Yes anyone saying Hearn owns DAZN, etc etc is misinformed, but you're also incorrect.

But yeah tell yourself whatever you want...

DAZN isn't going to be solely reliant on subscriptions .. are you naive?

You're also not factoring in what having Canelo means for DAZN. Once others see the highest paid boxers in the world signing massive deals with them of course they're going to enquire about getting some of that for themselves I bet Anthony Joshua being with DAZN was part of what got Oscar De La Hoya interested too ... it's snowballing.

IFL have a interview with Hearn saying he flew out to LA with the DAZN bosses to meet GBP and was in on the meetings and involved with the stategising with GBP as well so these guys were all wrong anyway.

The only thing they got right is Hearn still has his pot of money separate.

Of course he was, do you think John Skipper or any of the DAZN guys know boxing numbers like Hearn? Or any other experienced promoter? It's obvious they would lean on Hearns experience in those negotiations.

People here are too blinded by hate, it's crazy, especially when the person they are hating is actively trying to help. Yet I'm the one who is misinformed haha

You're right about ads, but how much can they make on ads? Do they run commercials?

Regarding the snowball effect, you're right but that plays into what I'm saying. The more people they sign up, the more $$ they'll have to dish out, which means they'll need more subscribers. In comparison, ESPN+ has less than 2 millions subscribers and they offer a much wider range of sports than DAZN.

I hope you're right cuz it'll mean boxing is here to stay at a low cost, but i doubt it

Yeah but before the idiots wouldn't hear it, the classic "you've got no proof, was you there?" was used.
