I'm curious to see how many people sub for 1 fight at a time. I've a feeling that instead of the $120 a year they plan on getting, it's going to be Canelo fans happily paying $10,twice a year.

a million? he did about 300K buys v Smith and him and Rocky are similar in profile. I appreciate the price difference or that it's free but finding an extra 700k people interested in this fight is very wishful thinking, regardless of price. And it's not falling on a Mexican Holiday.Comment

Ppl might subscribe it’s keeping them that’s the issue... I’ll get app for fights I wanna see and unsubscribe afterwardsComment

dazn is smoking hot right now, but eddie keeps acting like he's getting a cut of that canelo check, and his chronies are eating it up
hearn is co-promoting the fielding fight. from what is being reported, that is it! fielding is his fighter.
otherwise GBP made a deal directly with DAZN. i expect some collaboration, but for the most part GBP fighters will be on the GBP shows and hearn will put on shows mostly in england [some US too,] and they'll be matchroom shows on DAZN.

Granted he's not got anything in the specific Canelo/GBP situation, but if Canelo/GBP do bring 1M subs that will boost up Eddie's bank account I'm sure.Comment

Where was it reported? Pretty sure it was a made up twitter rumour. Hearn said the numbers weren't too far off a normal Showtime number. Most AJ fights did approx. 500k on Showtime so AJ-Povetkin probably did 300-400k on DAZN. Obviously all of them were free trials. But they will definitely get 1m+ tuning in to watch Canelo fight for free. How many become paying subscribers remains to be seen.Comment

decent point, unless they give you deep catalogues of their fighters careers on there and other boxing related content etc like the WWE network do.Comment
