The guy who made this video is a huge GGG hater just like you. GGG is no longer champion and has no obligation to fight any particular fighter. When he was champion he fought whoever was the top challenger and willing to fight him. By beating Murata he becomes a world champion again which is good for his legacy. By beating Jermall he becomes champion of nothing. It doesn't get him a Canelo fight either. Canelo is the man now. The giant A side. Canelo decides who he fights and when and the WBC and Jermall have no say in the matter. If he wants to fight GGG he will and if he doesn't he won't regardless of Jermall. If the WBC doesn't like it he will drop their belt like he did before. It's a no brainer for GGG. Beat Murata for huge money and be a champion again or beat Jermall for much smaller money and not be a champion. Any other boxer in his shoes wlould do the same. The haters say GGG is ducking Andrade, Jacobs and poor young lion Jermall. Guess what. Andrade and Jacobs will both be world champions in a couple of weeks. The three guys GGG is supposed to be ducking can start fighting each other while he fights Murata. So GGG fans like me defend him. What about the haters who will always say whoever he fights is wrong. Like it or not GGG will probably soon be a world champ again and you will have something else to hate him for. Meanwhile keep waiting for Canelo to fight Jermall but don't hold your breath.
And this is what I'm talking about when it comes to this schitty fan base
Wins like this take up GGGs entire career. Lampley compared the man to Muhammad Ali
It really doesn't matter now.
Charlo and GGG can't escape each other.
Charlo, for one, fights every 7-9 months anyways.
They'll be both available eventually,
leaving them no excuse not to fight.
So if Glovkin fights in March, assuming Charlo in December,
then Charlo will still have more than 5 months to decide,
whether to fight the monster or not.
Same thing with Glovkin.
Let's just say they're getting their tuneups before they'll finally meet.
Bottom line is Charlo willl not be fighting anytime soon after his next fight,
which is presumably in December.
That's always been the case with these Haymon fighters.
Anyways, the probability of Charlo vs Glovkin would have been higher
had Charlo decided not to fight in December, and just waited for GGG.
Right now, GGG is actually giving everyone favors by fighting an interim fight.
Can you imagine GGG taking long layoff just like PBC fighters do?
Think hard about it doe.
Im glad rob brant won. I just want that GGG fights a good opponent. Not murata or brant for now, they are stay busy opponents, and he needs to get back to the top with a decent opponent and KO o dominate him.
ppl here rely too much on boxingrec, not knowledge
i think murata is the bigger, more physical fighter
ggg is still the favorite based on his experience and skill
he clearly throws more jabs, but murata has serious power
murata will surprise a lot of people

I'm with you on this. He's coming off a taxing fight and a loss at that. Nothing wrong with this fight in my opinion
